The bride or groom must be from St. Mary's
Parish. |
| You must contact the Priest six months before
the desired date of marriage. The church donation is $450.00 for registered parishioners and $650.00 for non-parishioners. Once a date has been set a $100.00 deposit will be required. $50.00 is refundable with a 60 day prior cancellation notice. *The
$100.00 deposit will be applied to the full donation to the church. You may change your wedding date only once. |

Weddings
are scheduled on Saturdays at 10:30 am,
12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. |

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED |
|

baptismal certificate:
A recent copy of
each Catholic's Baptismal certificate, rendered
within the last six months.

TESTIMONY OF FREEDOM TO MARRY:
The sworn testimony of two competent
witnesses concerning the freedom of each party to
marry. The Priest has the forms to be filled out

CIVIL LICENSE
A valid Civil License to Marry. The nearest
County Clerk is at 12400 Imperial Ave., Norwalk,
California. The telephone number is (562)
462-2137. The license is good for 90 days from the
date of issue.

DUE
DATE FOR PAPER WORK:
Baptismal Certificate, Civil License, Letters of
Freedom to Marry, Marriage Preparation Certificate
and balance of the donation to the church should
be handed in to Priest assisting you at least
four weeks before the wedding.

will ever be denied a sacrament for lack
of funds. If you have a special
circumstance that prevents you from
giving the donation, please talk to the
priest when interviewed and
arrangements can be made. |
